Being a writer almost as quick as the blades he narrated, DJScratch-Rabbit has already submitted his entry for our no limits OC Duel... a bloody, fast paced battle between two epitomes of power and grace, underline with a deep and regrettable tragedy. I fired the first shots with my Cover Page teasers - and my opponent responded in swift kind.
With a little over ten days remaining to complete and submit my own entry, I'm feeling the pressure of this early, potentially decisive blow. Can my own alternate submission spin a tale of victory for Lupyne, to be granted visions of his past? There is much here at stake and a great deal to stand up to.
Only time will tell!
You can read DJScratch-Rabbit 's submission here:
Alucard vs Lupyne: Memory Check MixThe ancient stone pyramid pierced the canopy of the jungles as a brilliant flash of light emitted with much intensity, scattering a flock of tropical birds into the dusk sky. A leathery old man draped in a jaguar pelt, ordained with vibrant feathers approached a confused elf. The elf was clad in light leather armor, dark like the approaching night. A violet hood and cloak billowed slightly in the wind. A mask covered the lower half of his face, but his golden eyes burned with pain and hatred.
He gripped a straight and balanced ninjato that was strapped to the back of his waist. Spotting the old shaman, the elf dashed flashing his sword under the chin of the man. “Who are you? Where am I?”
The elf was named Alucard. A former assassin of the effective Black Rabbit clan. However after a series of events, he was now at war with them. Had the clan employed a sorcerer to entrap him in this foreign land? He needed to play his hand carefully. He was out of his element and as his Ma

I have once again... returned!
Recently, I was reinspired to continue working on my old webcomic. I've had zero activity here for a couple years, but an interaction with my significant other left us sharing old creations and resulted in my digging out this account.
Reading through the old Academy of Magic OCT, that Duel I had with Blackrabbit and the PoA CMC webcomic pages I had done was extremely satisfying and brought back some good times.
I'm gonna try and pick it up again. Wish me luck!
Otherwise... I immediately switched to using the 'old site'. Not sure how long this new DA has been around for but it was *ghastly*.
General update dump
Hey guys! Taru here.
So, recently I've not been so active - this is kind of a running theme across all of my hobbies. My EVE Online Corporation involvement has slowed down, my art uploads are few and far between, and my music's hit a dead stop too.
I'm re-org'ing some of my priorities. First and foremost, of course, come work and family. I have a lot of responsibilities at home, and my work shifts are pretty randomly scheduled, so when I get off-time I'm not always in the right frame of mind for creativity. Sometimes I just wanna sleep, and sometimes when I want to go crazy creative I have to clean the house, feed the cats, walk the dog, fe
AoM Round 3 Matchup Analysis
Hi guys! I know I've been active in spurts - please bear with me on that! I'm working on a webcomic now, see my recent deviations, and I am preparing myself for Round 3 of Aom.
Round 2 was a blast (thankyou huffnut (https://www.deviantart.com/huffnut) for a cracking round!) but I feel now I have to get even more serious if I want to win, which I do :P
In keeping with previous rounds, here follows a matchup analysis.

Augh... my head.
So last night (read, eight hours ago) I set up my Line 6 Spider Jam, Laptop and mic. Then, I DJ'ed for six straight hours for the pub at which I now live here in the new forest.
Never DJ'ed before. Bloody fun, but my ears are ringing. Also, I want a proper PA at some point, because damn if I didn't get some good feedback.
Rock on! Freak out! Have a good day.
